Full-Time Cash Management Functional Consultant Based in NYC, NY
Candidates need experience on Sales side of Cash Management for Business Banking Customers.
However more importantly; experience with Liquidity Management through sweeps, notional pooling, and working with Technology teams for rolling out solutions. Not looking for candidates from Treasury perspective. Need candidates that know Sweeping and Pooling.
Skills Required (Advance/Expert Level):
- Domain Expertise
Candidate should have extensive prior experience in Corporate & transaction banking including corporate core banking, Credit & Lending, Payment processing, corporate liquidity management, Treasury and trade finance. This experience could have been with a bank or with an IT product/services vendor, or a combination of both. Prior experience with IT products in these areas will be highly desirable.
- Cash Management Solutions
Experience in FIS, Fiserv, FInastra or any other leading Cash Management software.
- Process Modelling Tools
- Productivity Tools
Sharepoint, Ms Office
- Agile Tools
JIRA, IBM RTC
- Core Banking Products and platforms
Experience in Banking/Finance domain and working knowledge of core banking products. Knowledge of Finacle would be added advantage.
- Payments Systems
Knowledge of leading Payment Systems across the global and regions like SWIFT, NACHA, FEDWIRE, BACS, TARGET, etc.
- Requirements Gathering
Participate in requirement elicitation process defined in the project management plan to identify requirement gaps/issues (both functional and non-functional) in order to come up with a comprehensive requirement document. Knowledge of Agile Methodology would be an added advantage.
Create Process Maps, Presentations, Requirements documents.
Participate in architecture review sessions to provide inputs to architecture team through framework analysis, design patterns, prototype specifications in order to be able to create High level design specification.
Prepare Test scenarios/ test plans and perform test execution and ensure that the software is meeting the desired quality.
- Knowledge Management
Build repository of team`s collective knowledge, seek information and leverage knowledge from other projects in order to drive higher efficiency and effectiveness and preserve organization knowledge.
- Maintenance & Production Support
Participate in analysis of incoming cases/tickets, assign tickets to team members, track fixing of tickets and verification of the fixes, tracking of SLAs, performing root cause analysis of defects and elimination of root causes, running process improvement initiatives such as Brite initiative to reduce defects in order to close production issues and improve application/system/infrastructure performance.
