Full-Time Network Engineer Job Based in Miami, FL
Network engineer role is to support the operations and making day to day changes in the network environment. Candidate should be good with Cisco routers i.e. 3935, 7200, ASR 1K and 4K series, ISR 4K and Cisco switches i.e. 3750, 2900, 4500, 6500, Nexus platforms.
This position is only for Miami and candidate must relocate to Miami if not already there.
* The candidate should be good with below technologies which are mandatory to support the client.
#Routing – BGP, OSPF,RIP,EIGRP and Layer 3
#Switching – STP, Layer 2 Troubleshooting
#Nexus – Cisco Nexus 7000,9000,5000 and 2000 series switches and good command over NXOS
#DMVPN – Must have good hands on experience on Cisco DMVPN.
#Multicast – Should be good with Multicast configuration and troubleshooting
#WAN – Must be familiar with WAN technologies i.e. point to point circuits or MPLS circuits.
#Familiar with Packet capture like Wireshark
#Knowledgeable of Tacacs authentication as well Solarwinds
#Experience with ATM, DS0, T1, DS3
Working with Multiple vendors and work in collaboration till resolution.
#Experience with VPN Cisco Any connect
#Extensive experience driving issues with 3rd party internet vendor like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Spectrum
#Be able to work on a team environment and meet SLA
* Below are some preferred technologies which are not mandatory.
#Load Balancer – Candidate should have good understanding of Citrix Netscaler and BIG IP F5
#Riverbed – Its always preferred if candidate has worked or have basic knowledge of Riverbed Steelhead devices.
#Wireless – Candidate with working knowledge of Cisco wireless technology like CISCO AP AERONET, WLAN
#Cisco VXLAN-EVPN – understanding and troubleshooting Datacenter network with
VXLAN EVPN (Spine-Leaf) technology.
