Job Description

System Analyst will report to the HRIT/LMS Business Operations Director and work in a project team as an individual contributor. This role will interact with multiple teams including Business Partners, End User Technology, Identity & Access Management, Information Security and Ops, as well as third-party vendors. The application portfolio in the project is made up of mostly externally hosted HR SaaS applications currently managed by the business partners.  He will be working on ensuring these applications are understood, secured and then transitioned to internal development team. Looking for a candidate with 1-2 yrs of combined experience in technical product development/implementation and systems analysis in techno-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

.Partnering with various IT groups such as engineering, product, security, and  infra on strategic projects in technology

.Working with vendor technical resources to remediate reported vulnerabilities to mitigate any exposures, improve the overall security posture, and reduce risk

.Coordinate penetration testing of web and mobile applications with internal teams and vendor partners

.Assist with project deliverables including, but not limited to launching security activities

.Documenting application configurations and architecture diagrams

.Identifying and classifying ongoing post-project support needs

.Provide operational and project support to lead analysts

.Perform unit and quality assurance testing, contribute to test case preparation and test results documentation

.Develop and enhance working knowledge through training, independent research and team collaboration

.Analyze system and data potential failures to identify and contribute to operational excellence and control needs

.Develop, manage, and maintain positive relationships with business partners, vendors and employees to address support and project activities

Qualifications

.1-2 years’ experience in application implementation, administration, development and support

.S/w and/or  H/w vulnerability Management experience

.Understanding of OWASP standard and SANS 25

.Strong follow-through, problem identification, analysis and problem-solving skills

.Demonstrated ability to absorb, analyze, and understand new information, technologies and practices quickly

.Exposure to technologies such as SQL, JEE, C++, XML, XSLT, SOA, ESB, SOAP, REST Web Services and Web technologies strongly preferred

.Experience with SaaS application access using single-sign-on (SSO) with Microsoft Azure a plus

.Vulnerability management by Qualys Certification a plus

Mandatory Skills: VATP – Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing

Desirable Skills: Data Security, Azure Web Apps, Penetration Testing – PT
